The Planning Commission is the body that reviews development proposals for compliance with the General Plan and makes recommendations to City Council in the following areas:
The Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council. Regular meetings are held monthly at 5:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall on the third Wednesday of each month.

Members of the Planning Commission must be a registered voter in the City of Chowchilla, and members are required to submit a financial disclosure statement (Statement of Economic Interests - Form 700) under the State of California laws.
Meeting agenda packets are posted to the City website and include the agenda and staff reports. It is a preliminary draft of the agenda packet, meaning that it is subject to change until 72 hours before the meeting.
