Building Plan Check

Before building construction can occur, plans must be prepared and submitted to the department for review for compliance with zoning and building regulations. Depending on the level of necessary review, the City’s currently approved contracted firm may evaluate this task.

Building Permit

Building Permit Application can be filled out and returned by email, regular mail, or in-person to City Hall.

If emailing, the Building Permit Application and a complete set of plans can be sent to the following email: BuildingPermits@cityofchowchilla.org
