Water Discontinuation Policy

In accordance with California Senate Bill 998, the “Water Shutoff Protection Act” approved on September 28, 2018, the City shall not discontinue residential water service for nonpayment until a customer has been delinquent for at least 60 days. Contact the Finance Department-Utility Billing at (559) 665-8615, ext. 783, to discuss options for averting water service termination for nonpayment under the approved City policy.
