The City Administrator provides day to day leadership of personnel and manages all City departments under the direction of the City Council. The position evaluates City government to assure its operation is efficient and provides an atmosphere that ensures all citizens receive fair and equitable service. The Administrator's focused goal is to strive for a government that enhances the elements of teamwork through a renewed commitment to our citizens, employees, and business community.
The City Administrator oversees personnel rules and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. The Administrator also maintains adequate staffing levels through equal opportunity recruitment efforts, strives to retain qualified personnel, maintains confidential personnel records, and manages and administers benefit programs in an efficient manner. Ultimately, the City Administrator provides day to day leadership and manages all City departments under the direction of the City Council.
